Creating an interactive element to your webcast presentation doesn’t have to be very complicated and can be fun and engaging for your audience. For example you can have a quiz to test the knowledge, understanding and perspectives of your audience.
Ask you audience to find 3 objects in their room that have the colours, red, blue and green. They need to be able to hold the object in front of their webcam / laptop or phone camera to show the colour. They will vote for something based on the colour of the object. In case they don’t have such colour object (or are colour blind), they can write the name of the colour on a piece of paper. You can use a break before to ask people to find 3 small objects in their room with bleu, red and green colour. This is also helpful as it will ensure your audience will get out of their seats during a break and won’t continue to sit behind their computers.
During the quiz you give multiple choice questions with three possible answers. Indicate for each possible answer if they need to put the red, green or blue object for the camera. With all the images you can nicely see who voted for what. In case of wrong answer, you can decide as part of the rules if you want that person to continue voting or not. Best probably is to do so as it will keep everyone engaged till the end (keeping track of their own scores). Letting your audience show coloured objects in front of the camera is a fun and engaging way to add a level of interactivity to your webcast presentation.
