Use of video during a webcast presentation

To enhance the quality and diversity of a presentation you may have used a short video in your live presentations in the past. The question is if it would also be good to use a video during a webcast.

It may work, however you should test this before you actually do this. Especially with larger audiences and not the best internet connection speed, you may have a situation that playing a video during a webcast simply doesn’t properly work. Your audience may experience a delay between the sound an images. Or the video is not showing fluent, more like a slide-show with sometimes an image. Also some members of your audience may have a different experience.

You should avoid these kind of situations as it will not look professional, leads to frustration and interrupts the flow of your webcast presentation.
