Virtual entry room for your webcast presentation

At the beginning of a webcast presentation most hosts / presenters will wait a couple of minutes for all participants to dial-in at get ready for the start of the presentation / meeting. With a live face-to-face presentation with an audience in a room, people may grab a cup of coffee / talk with each other in anticipation of the official start.

You can also create such a moment in a virtual way before the start of a webcast. Display a picture of a café and include a note or sign that indicates the starting time of the presentation. This can be done by for example a countdown timer. On the internet you can download plenty of free examples of a café shop with some background music and sounds of people while having their morning coffee. Play this scene, so that when your audience connects to the webcast they are welcomed in this interesting unexpected environment. You can welcome them telling you will start to the official “presentation room” in a few moments while we are waiting for the others to join. Such a twist by using a virtual environment can create a nice interesting beginning before you start the official part of your webcast presentation.
