You may be tempted to use extended notes to be used during your webcast presentation, however this may not enhance the quality of your presentation. If you are using a lengthy script to read during your online presentation or conference call, you may fail in brining across the message.
Your audience may see that you are reading the text or even when there is no webcam (pure conference call), they may hear that you are reading text and not presenting. Also during a live presentation with audience in a room it is not a good idea to read the text from paper or from your presentation slides. Your audience will quickly get distracted. Avoid using extended notes or script during the webcast or conference call. It may be a helpful tool as part of the preparation for your presentation, but normally not for the actual presentation during the webcast / conference call itself.
