If you are in a situation that you need to present something when sitting down you may feel very nervous. What to do to reduce the nervous feeling during a “sit-down presentation”?
One of the things that you can do is to distract your brain a bit from feeling nervous during such sit-down presentation. You can do this by holding a pen while talking / presenting. Another thing you can try is to lift up one of your legs. Not to the extent that your shoe is not on the floor anymore, but just to put some pressure on the muscles in one of your legs. This is a way to distract your brain and may reduce the nervous feeling a bit. Have a look at the book that is part of the Public Speaking Kit for much more tips to reduce the nervous feeling.
