Make a reference to the location during your presentation

If you facilitate a training / make a presentation in front of an audience, it is in a lot of cases nice to make a link to the location where you are. Especially if it is like a special location.

The city, the building, the history of the location or something interesting nearby, it may all form interesting source of information that you can include in your presentation. When you make a link to it, the audience can connect the content of your presentation more easily to the location. It will make it easier to make a reference to your presentation at a later point of time as they can refer it to a location.

For example when you made a presentation in a certain city. They can refer to it the city: “Remember what we discussed in New York, Barcelona, Hong Kong, Sydney?”. “Remember the presentation in the old windmill, the bridge restaurant, the botanic garden?”

Linking your presentation to the location pins it down and makes it easier for your audience to refer to it at a later point in time.
