Some topics are just not important enough to give a presentation about. Why would you present something if your audience already knows about it and if there is nothing new to say about it? What if the topic is more suitable to be communicated by means of a simple e-mail? In that case, just don’t give a presentation. It is always good to expose yourself to new presentation opportunities, but giving a presentation does need to add value to the audience. Therefore ask yourself the question “Do you really need to give a presentation about the topic?”.
