If you need to give a speech or presentation that is memorable for your audience you may want to use a prop, such as a drone. It can create a fantastic visual effect. As an example we describe a scenario where you need to give a presentation or speech about technology and innovation. You should change it to make sure that it fits your specific topic / content to address.
Scenario:
Tell the audience that you are going to talk about technology and innovation. Ask the audience to imagine that you have a small drone. This drone has the size and shape of a golf ball and has two eyes that are cameras and two ears that are microphones. The drone has a level of artificial intelligence and is programmed to follow members of the audience for a year and then report back observations in the area of use of technology and innovation. Tell the audience that you were thinking about what you would like the drone to report back to you after one year. Now you can introduce what you hope the drone would report back, referring back to the drone each time when you introduce a new topic. At the end of your presentation you can tell your audience that this is a presentation about technology and innovation and it may be hard to imagine to be followed by a drone for the coming year. However, it would be actually quite cool if you were able to actually get the drone out of your pocket. Than say that you may just actually do that. Reach in your pocket and get out this small drone. Let it fly for a couple of seconds and then tell your audience that this drone is obviously a toy but if it would be real than you would hope that it would report back some fantastic stories about the use of technology and innovation in a year from now. Wish your audience an amazing year and thank them.
You can see that by doing this you can create a very powerful presentation. You took you audience along with you by telling them a story about a drone, manage the expectations and created a visual link by actually showing them the drone.
