Some things are easy to forget but could have a big impact on your next presentation. What is the weather going to be like? Do you need to leave earlier because it may take more time to reach the location for your presentation due to the weather conditions? Should you anticipate that your audience will arrive later due to the weather conditions?
What about the location itself, is it much impacted by weather conditions? Do you need to arrive earlier to check for the temperature in the room, arrange for changing the temperature of the room to avoid it is to hot or cold due to the weather conditions? Or have you already arranged for somebody else to turn on the air-conditioning in case it is hot outside or turn on the heating system if it is cold in the room due to the winter conditions? Check the weather conditions as part of the preparation for your next presentation.
Please note that the book that is part of the Public Speaking Kit comes with an easy to use checklist with things to think about / do before your presentation. The checklist is a free supplement to the book and is available for download for a limited period of time.
