3 elements of a great impactful speech

We get the question about what to do to make a speech being great and not boring or just average. Obviously it is not only about what you say but also about how you say it. A great speech is prepared well in advance and well thought of. Your speech should include elements that are important to the audience. You should consider the following 3 elements to deliver a great impactful speech:

Concise.
Do not hold a very long speech. People have a relatively short attention span and if you go on and on you will lose the attention of your audience no matter what you say. Think carefully what is really important and what matters most. Focus only on that. Every word of your speech is important, so make sure it is impactful.

Personal.
Make it personal and talk about things or events that you are passionate about. Things that you are excited about will reflect back on your audience. Focus on what matters to you and the audience. The personal connection and passion will create an energetic speech.

Journey.
Take your audience on a journey during your speech. Let them follow you on an interesting path with twist and turns and a compelling end. People love hearing stories and being taking along a journey. Use lively examples and words to describe the atmosphere so you can take your audience along with you on the journey. Let them feel the experience for an impactful speech.
